Did anyone else get super lazy after your pediatrician made you supplement? I’m so disappointed in myself, but I’ve really been slacking on breastfeeding. My son doesn’t eat as well at the breast anymore, he mostly just hangs out 😒, so I’ve had to start giving him more bottles. I tried to get my supply back up last month, and failed. Since then, I’ve been seriously slacking on my pumping sessions (I maybe do twice a day now, instead of every time my baby eats). I just ended up getting so discouraged, and it was easier to give a bottle and not pump. I was barely getting anything when I pumped, which would upset me, causing me not to want to do it. I would still like to reach my 1 year goal, but I don’t know if it’s possible. Is there anyway I can get myself back in the game lol? (Sorry for the long post, just needed to vent about how frustrated I am in myself haha.)

I HATE pumping! It makes me feel like a failure since I only get about 3 oz total each pump. I’ve had to supplement since I work full time and can’t nurse her and I’m not pumping enough for her to have just breast milk.
Oatmeal should help your supply. Also drinking Gatorade or body armor drinks.
I also plan to make it to a year. When I first had to give my daughter formula I cried but I just told myself fed is best and any amount of breast milk is a bonus.
You’ve got this. Don’t be to hard on yourself
