Ladies what are your thoughts on gender reveal parties?

I wanted to do something fun but my family is not very close and my partners family is not geographically near by so party for me wasn’t really an option. I decided to grab a few things from the grocery store and whip up some cupcakes. It was really fun for us to do together and a nice way for everyone to feel included. 😇
