So my dr agreed to go forth with giving me a hysterectomy today. Now it’s just a matter of scheduling it. I’m nervous but I know this will be better for me in the long run. Although I’m younger than the average woman getting this done, I’m thank ful that God blessed me with two beautiful kids.

I have a uterine prolapse that’s gotten progressively worse. It was discovered 4 years ago. Causes me a lot of pain daily
@dtrimew16 I'm so sorry to hear that! Is there no other choice? The reason I ask is because my mother had an "emergency hysterectomy" and afterwards found out there were other options. She was very young. Only 31 and it caused so many unbearable changes for her. I don't remember the details as I was only a kid at the time but it has put me on guard ever since. Whatever the outcome for you I pray it is a good one!
