To all of my breast feeding mommies!!!

How long did you only breast feed? When did you begin to transition baby to the bottle? When, did you incorporate non breast milk into babies diet.

18 months exactly. First 6 months exclusive breastfeeding with no solids at all. Then a slow introduction to solids after that with BLW. I quit my job because she wouldn’t take a bottle and started nannying and got to bring her with me so we continued to strictly nurse. I never gave her an alternative milk bc they don’t really need one. All she drinks, and will drink, is water.

instead of puréed “baby foods” you give real food that is cut appropriately and safely for baby. They learn to practice chewing first with this method as opposed to passing the gag reflex with a spoon and just swallowing.

19m at 11m she got some milk in a sippy at 15m went to only night feeding and slowly added sippy at night till she was done with the boob
