@kaeleyjx, As a teacher, I think that’s a ridiculous punishment for a 2nd or 3rd grader. 🙄 They should’ve had her change and let you know not to send her to school in that again. Punishing a little girl for her clothes is outrageous. She looks very cute in that outfit!

That’s ridiculous!!! She is a child and she looks adorable. The school couldn’t have called you or sent a note home that there is a dress code and she was violating it? So dumb!!!

That’s absolutely nuts!! Our school system has a super strict dress code for middle and high school but barely any dress code at all for elementary school. I can’t believe they would give a small child lunch detention over dress code. I’d be highly pissed!
