I have to go back to work as I need the money. I’m currently working 3 days and I’m happy with that. But my boss wants me to go full time 5 days. With a young baby it’s so hard to consider going 5 days. The only positive is that if we ever buy a place we could get more mortgage if that makes sense. What would you do ? Work 3 or 5 days. 💋💋💋

Stick to 3 lol. It's not your bosses decision but yours. If it makes sense for you go for it. Don't be pushed into it though.

3! 5 is way to much. I do 3 days 12 hour shifts and i hate it i feel like i miss out on so much i could never do 5

You should do what feels right for you, don't let yourself be pressured into working full time if you don't want to.
As we'd bought a house and had a mortgage to pay, I felt pressured to go back full time after having Bethany - although I used carried-over holiday to ease myself back in, I hated it for ages (I also had undiagnosed PND at the time). Eventually my PND was picked up, I got the support & treatment I needed and I adjusted to being back at work.
I did consider dropping to part time when I go back after this baby, as childcare costs will be higher. As it turns out OH got a payrise and I'll be going back in a new role with more money, so it'll be worth it.

I would say if it helps secure a mortgage then full time. We got out forever home when I was pregnant with my second luckily. I worked four days previously but only going back three as it’s impossible to reduce hours when back so if it didn’t work out then I would be stuck.
