I’m trying to see something..do you always tip even if the service is bad?
Edit: I didn’t tip at the nail salon the lady was rude and cut me while doing my nails
Oh no, if she injured you and was rude the whole time then she gets no tip 🤷🏼♀️
If she cut me, I’d probably complain and not even pay the full amount due. Forget the tip. 😅
If the person was rude and cut you I’d actually ask for a discount lol
No! I’m a waitress. A tip isn’t guaranteed it’s earned.
Always . 20% for good service , 10% for terrible service . Rarely have had to give 10% though
I have not tipped before but it’s very rare... maybe 2-3 times ever. Things have to be downright awful to get to that point. I live in a state where servers get paid minimum wage instead of the $2/hour or whatever they get in most states. I work hard for my money and I’m not going to hand it over to someone who gave terrible service and ruined my meal out.
One time we was at this restaurant and there was a big party and my husband and I. Our waitress didn’t even check on us. I need another drink and she was nowhere to be found. I asked the hostess to get me a drink in the hostess did. Our waitress came back with a drink for me and I told her I was fine the hostess got it if she turns around and slams the drink on the table and it spells, she apologizes and says she has this big party she’s tending to, that taking all her time. I told her I hope they tip her well. The cook brings out our food and the head cook also comes and checks on us throughout dinner. Waitress came by to bring us our bill and she was trying to be so friendly towards us but I was already absolutely disgusting it with her service. The party left before and I heard her complaining that they did not tip her. I paid for our bill I gave the hostess $10 and I gave the cook $20 as a tip. She didn’t check on us because she thought she was getting a major tip from a big party.
I want to add I’ve also tipped a server that wasn’t mine because his guests only left him two dollars in change on the $80 bill, and he had excellent customer service
I tip but very little .... i have a hard time walking out without tipping even alittle because maybe that person is going through some bad shit . I never really know
yes - always at least 15%. waitresses/delivery drivers/etc. are amongst the only people who’s wages are affected by how “good” their service is which i don’t think is fair, other jobs you can be as shitty as you want and still get paid 🤷🏻♀️
I’m at the nail salon now , can you get gel French tip on acrylic nails ?
I don’t like French toes so what kind of polish should I do that will go with my nails ?
Tattoos.
How much do you tip for a tattoo? Do you do what you would tip at a salon or restaurant? My husband says $10 an hour but I thought 20%
do anyone have tips on going into labor
Question.. how much do you or would you tip a nail tech?
Once. And it was well deserved.
