Hello there!!!! Any tips on weaning my 18 month old off the boob. I tried when he was 1, but whole milk made him really congested and I decided I'll give him more time. (Almond milk is our alternative) I started the weaning process 2 months ago, so now he only gets it as soon as he gets home from school and to sleep. Now I'm ready to eliminate the nursing all together. Any suggestions????

@boymama523, yup, got pregnant with my son while nursing my daughter. Also got pregnant nursing’s my son with this one.

Following. I and my son are not ready to wean but I want to have another baby and I’m not sure if I can while nursing. Good luck with a smooth transition. I think taking away the after school nursing first would be good and then when that’s all done then the before bed and replace with warm almond milk? I’m dreading this as well!

When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. My son is 14 months tomorrow and we can hardly get him to eat solid foods on his own. We want to wean him off formula by 18 months and have been trying to get him to snack on small finger foods and he mainly just plays with it or throws it off his tray. Sometimes he will eat it if we give it to him but most of the time he shakes his head no. Any ideas or tips on how to get him more interested in eating? He will eat yogurt bites and cherrios on his own but that's about it.
Question. I just left my husband for cheating and now hes been harassing me. Hes threatening to come get our son. I dont care if he sees his son but I'm not comfortable with him leaving with him bc hes never taken care of him a day In his life and he might use him against me. Am I wrong for feeling this way??
People swear my methods was mean, but my kids didn’t throw fits. Middle of the night feeding was the only time the cried for it. And it wasn’t a full blown crying fit. I cold turkey weaned them. I made my breast undesirable with ACV. As soon as they smelt it or barely tasted it they turn they face away and didn’t want my breast. I held them and loved them a little tighter and longer so they didn’t feel rejected or anything. Took 3 days and it was harder on me than it was on them.
