Has anyone else had the epidural & it was done wrong?
I had the epidural but right before I had to push it start wearing off even tho it shouldn’t have. I didn’t have any weird things happen when they did it. But now I’m having weird symptoms that I didn’t have during postpartum with my girls.
What were your side effects if you had any after birth. My right side of my body just feels weird. My neck hurts only on the right side. My ear feels like it’s clogged. Every time I laid down last night after feeding baby boy I felt like the room was spinning & when I tried to focus on something I couldn’t full focus. & right now I feel like I have a headache that’s mostly on the right side of my head & I have to try to focus on even looking at my phone to type this. I will be calling my doctor the moment I can tho. Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this or something similar.

Thankfully I did not have any side effects other than a sore back for a few months. The lady put it in wrong and pinched a nerve 3 times until I told her she isn’t doing it again and it was staying in there. I felt one side of my body through labor but they gave me a different medication through my IV to help the pain on the side that was not numb! Definitely bring it up to your doctor that sounds kinda scary!

Yea i felt everything when it came time to push & I had epidurals with my girls too & even with my second they turned it off when it was time to push it didn’t wear off as fast as it did this time. I’m just hoping nothing serious is going on. Probably doesn’t help that I haven’t been able to relax since being home from the hospital cause my in laws are here & they are driving me crazy.

I had the worst headache of my life about 48 hours after my spinal block for my c section. They punctured my dural space and I was leaking cerebral spinal fluid. The pressure in my head was horrific. I also had auditory hallucinations. Muffled hearing and it sounded like a helicopter was in my ears. They had to administer a blood patch to fix it. Google “spinal headache” and see if your symptoms match up. Also - if you lay completely flat on your back and your headache goes away, that’s a good sign you have one.
