With my daughter I was rushed to the hospital because there was no amniotic fluid in my uterus. They tried inducing me for 6 hours, having me on oxygen because her heart kept slowing and stopping. It just flat out stopped at one point so I was rushed into an emergency c section. I never got to experience labor. I was already past term and my body wasnt even effacing. With this baby I'm trying to decide if I want to try a vbac or if I should just plan a c section because of the small chance my scar could rupture.

It's scary to think about for me. Because if the scar ruptures I may never have another pregnancy. And I'm also afraid of tearing down there
@teri.m.green I've been thinking of it thoroughly & I might choose another C-section. Just to be safe. Because you never know if your making the right decisions
Same situation. With my first that's how it was too. his heart would slow down & he got so stressed. They put me on some oxygen but they couldn't wait any longer he was in danger. Emergency C-section it was.
My body now isn't effaced at all. I'm not dilating at all. &' I might be showing preeclampsia. I want my VBAC &' my OB is letting me be until 41 weeks. (1week left)!
But if I need a C-section again then that's what I'll get.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Forgive me if this offends anyone but is it just me or does it seem like doctors are so quick to jump to c-sections these days? Even my midwife at 30 weeks said if my baby doesn’t turn (he’s transverse) I’ll have to have a c-section. Which of course put so many thoughts in my mind that I didn’t necessarily need because I still have ten weeks. I just don’t get it I guess. Technically we can go to 42 weeks.
I guess everyone is different with different pain tolerance because my recovery for my c section was a breeze I never filled the medications they gave me and was walking down to the NICU to see my son the next day
Meet my son ladies! He was born yesterday at 5:06pm weighing in at 6 pounds 2ounces 😍😍😍 I had an emergency c section with bad preeclampsia! I just want to think all my friends that sent me prayers and positive messages & comments! I'm completely in love with my bundle of heaven! I love you my Erik Ray 👶🏼💙 born July 22nd!
C-section=OMG!
So let me start off by saying I am completely terrified.
My OB also said I also have a small chance my scar could rupture , so if anything goes wrong , then I'll get a C-section
