If anyone had an epidural please tell me your experiences did you have pain while pushing your baby out?
They stopped the epidural when it was time to push, so I’d say the first 70% of delivery I didn’t feel anything at all and when it was finally wearing off at the end I felt a lot of pain, the urge to push, and pressure.
No mam! The most uncomfortable part was the dry throat from pushing and no water 😂. Second time around I only had to push twice so that wasn’t even a problem- but I paid for it with what I went through getting the epidural in.
With my first it was just a ton of uncomfortable pressure and with my second it was so much pressure that it was what you could consider painful, but he was also coming down at an awkward angle. The pressure can be mistaken for pain for some mamas, and some feel absolutely nothing at all
Nope, nothing, just pressure when she was coming out. With my son, I didn't have a chance to have an epidural but recovery with him was a breeze and I didnt swell. I will say they had to redo my epidural 3 times bc they had in the the wrong position so if they dont have it right, it won't work.
1st baby-felt literally nothing
2nd-i got the epidural after my water broke and was already 6 cm. I didn't numb completely I don't think because u felt pressure but it wasn't painful.
