I made this baby on April 2-3rd. That’s 6 weeks ago, I know when I ovulated. But, by last menstrual period (just one week more) it’s 7 weeks. I went for my second ultrasound (first doctor visit) and the u/s lady told me the baby was measuring 7w3d, and the sac was measuring 8 weeks. By my calculations that’s even more than it should be measuring because I ovulated just 6 weeks ago. There was no heart beat sound (she did not look for the motion) , and the doctor told me that the baby could have stopped growing at 7w3d and that I could possibly miscarry. WHAT? . This baby can not measure more than what it is lol, I didn’t bother to explain to the doctor about my ovulation or anything because she was just jumping to conclusions and being rude and negative. So I just left. She said I was miscarrying without even seeing my numbers and before looking at another ultrasound. I’m currently looking for a better doctor.

If you're going off of ovulation add 2 weeks from your positive opk. Sometimes going off of lmp doesn't work. Did they schedule you for a follow up in a week?

Yes . In two weeks, but I made an apt to be seen in 3 weeks. But I’m looking for another doctor. I have been mistreated there. In the last transv ultrasound she told me ‘pants off and get on the bed’. And I was like, ‘ok but may I have something to cover myself?’ Then she was like ‘oh yeah here’. Later someone called her and she left the thing inside me and went to pick up the phone. All that to have the doctor later telling me I’m miscarrying without being even sure.

that’s such a horrible way to be treated. especially by a doctor. you’re supposed to feel super comfortable with them. definitely find that new dr who treats you better than her.

she’s not even the main doctor. That was my first time seeing her because the main one is never there.

Definitely find a new doctor and not everyone has a perfect 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14 , where they count 2 weeks back for GA. That's crazy. I'm sure baby is fine, dont let it stress u out love !

I totally understand. As if the first three months arent stressful and terrifying enough already, then to hear that.. that's a worst fear. Added stress.
