MLSG (Mom Life Support Group)

MLSG (Mom Life Support Group)

Hi, my name is Ava. I'm a LMT and a SAHM. Today my twins turn 2. I have 3 kids and 1 on the way. I live with my In Laws and life has been miserable ever since. Sometimes I feel like leaving. I think that everyone would be better off without me being here, but I know my children need me. No I'm not talking about taking my life, but just going away for a while. Other than my children showing me in their own little way, I don't feel appreciated by the adults that live in this house at all. The help that I get doesn't go unnoticed though. My SIL and MIL love to run to my husband and complain about things rather than talk to me, the one who is here most of the time about anything. I mean, what can he do about the issue that I can't do?? Maybe if I went away for an undisclosed amount of time, I would gain some clarity on some things and get back to who I used to be. Thank you guys for listening/reading.

No one neccesarily has to comment on my post, but taking a note from AA, I think it would be interesting to see what issues us mothers face on a daily basis.

Do what’s best for You and your children! Your husband should have your back and not allow his family to talk shit or belittle you ! There is a solution to every problem ,big hugs to you ❤️

they dont respect you. & your husband should put your feelings first. before you run off demand that respect (sit down & let it be known). if nothing changes then i think you need to do whats best for your children.. only you know what that would be.

I think you need to sit down with everyone, including your husband and tell them how you feel, how what they are doing I'd affecting your mental state and that you feel they should be treating you like the adult you are instead of acting like high school girls going behind your back. It seems like a form of disrespect in my eyes

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday…

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Adult children living at home

Adult children living at home My husband and I argue about this all the time. He says he will never put our children out and they will always have a place to live here at home. I completely disagree. My children can live at home through college if they choose to go and a short while after while they find a job and get on their feet. However, if they choose to not go to school or not have a job, there is no way they will live at home for free. I just feel like when you're an adult, it's time to act like one. I also would not let my married children live at home either. Of course there will always be exceptions like if they fall on hard times, lose their job, have health issues, etc. I also would let them stay for a while if they were in "transition", as in they are waiting for a house to be built or something.
