I feel like the worst mother 😞 I’ve been putting my son in timeout for a couple days for how hard he’s been biting people... I just realized he’s been trying to communicate that his teeth were hurting him because he has four teeth cutting through 💔

Don’t feel like a bad mom girl. He still gotta learn it’s not okay to bite so you’re still doing the right thing. But at least now you know the reason behind it.
Thank you so much, that’s very true. I just feel like I should’ve been more sympathetic about it and realized that there was a reason, instead of just assuming with his temper that he was acting out

Still shouldn’t be biting people period. My son has been cutting back teeth toohe doesn’t bite on anything but his poor crib lol and it looks like a wood pecker ate it
Lol, that poor crib 😂 My son bites everything, but he’s never really bitten people the way he has the past few days. He has a severe temper though, so I just assumed he was acting out more than usual. 😕

Even if he was trying to communicate it is still ok to teach them not to bite.

It was a harmless mistake I've done it to we may be mothers but we aren't perfect love
My daughter is a biter. She doesn’t do it all the time but it pisses me off when she does and she doesn’t have teeth coming in. I always give a time out for it.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. You didn’t know. Being a parent is the HARDEST job ever. I don’t think anyone knows what they’re truly doing. Just know you’re doing an amazing job
