Less than an hour until we see baby girl again to see how much she weighs now. Last scan at 31 weeks she was just under 5 and a half lbs. She had gained almost 2lbs since our scan at 29 weeks where she was 3 and a half lbs. I'm scared to know how big she is at this point. I'll be 36 weeks Monday. Taking bets. 😂🤦🏻♀️ My husband is saying 7. I say she's at least 8.

These scans are not accurate so I wouldn’t worry with my first they told me he weighed 5lbs 6 max I gave birth 2 days later and he was almost 9lbs... with my 2nd & 3rd I didn’t want the estimates as with my first stressed me about him being small for no reason. With my 4th I said ok it’s been almost 12 years technology maybe better now, they told me my baby was 65th percentile ... I gave birth a week later to an almost 10lb baby.

The reason they're doing the scan is because they're likely to induce or schedule me for a csection with her being so large and having such rapid growth. They can still be off but I don't think they're usually that far off now. It's usually give or take a lb in either direction from what they've told me! I can't imagine how shocked you must've been when you got your 9lb baby! Hahah!
