Still no crawling but she gets into sitting position on her own. Any advice how to encourage crawling?
@divinely_favored it’s not me saying that but the doctors around the world, crawling is very good for the baby’s health (brain development and core body strength) and it’s important to have baby crawl for at least two months before walking. ссылка
@maria_lizzie Interesting. I had never read or heard that.
An old friend of mine told me a “secret” and totally worked for my son at 6 months was put a toy in front of baby and set her on her hands and knees or tummy time position and put your hand behind both of her feet to get her rocking back and forth and encourage her to push off ur hand and go for the toy! I got my son crawling in a week doing this from the tummy time position!😁 hope this helps!
Put things just out of her reach that she will really want. My oldest crawled to get my husband’s cellphone. Entice her.
Thanks, tried that! She lays down and stretches to get something close by or gives up when it’s too far and switches her attention to something else 🤨
@maria_lizzie, truthfully While crawling is important, some kids do skip it and go to walking. I’d just keep enticing her and if she doesn’t I wouldn’t sweat it too much ♥️ Give her plenty of floor time. Hopefully someone else has another suggestion.
@whereswaldo agreed. For us, it was the dog that our baby loved. He would stare at her and try so hard to crawl toward her. 🐶
So over this feeling!
Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The...
Baby won't bear weight on leg
I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as ...
Soooooo jeb has been i guess clingy. For the last 3-4 days he has always tried to crawl to me or crawl out his room to me. Or he is in his walker and rolls over to me.
He is now in his room crying at the door because he cant get out to get to me.
He will be 1yr in a few weeks. Is this a leap thing or what???
