Ladies who have been in a custody battle, serious question. My daughters father just started supervised visits with her today in the court building & I would like to know how long does it last? Or it depends on the judge.

My ex husband has reunification set up right now. He's not as violent or threatening but he does not have a relationship with my daughter. Hasn't seen her in person since she was 3 weeks. I requested that the reunification be consistent for six months and if he started but didn't finish then the process would restart. My ex also needs to attend therapy and Skype regularly. You should request anger management and co parenting therapy between you two.
@makeupmomplustwo_, that’s so fucking heartbreaking. It makes me furious. People are so sick and the court gives them the benefit of the doubt. You wouldn’t BELIEVE the screenshots i tried to show the court and the judge refused to even look at them. My son’s father threatening to drive his car off the freeway so he can kill other people along with himself.
@ehowa, I submitted all the screenshots but this time around they just documented everything instead of looking and listening to a recording of him saying he’s going to get people to kick me in the stomach

In va it depends on the judge. Like we will get papers that say till this age or till this court date or whatever. My step daughters mom had supervised visits and we had it till our court date and decide to continue or whatever see how it was going. Depends on why they only get supervised visits as well.
