Just reading papers I got for the birth certificate... does this mean I have to add him to the birth certificate?? I really don’t want the sperm donor on it.

You DONT have to add anyone on the birth certificate. Only you. A lot of people that are together say they don’t know who the dad is so they can get government help without making the dad pay child support. The dad has every right to file for his child is he wants but if he doesn’t then you do what you want with the birth certificate. And let me tell you. Even if he does pay child support for his other kids it doesn’t mean you won’t get much. You get what you need based on your income. If he pays let’s say $200 for each kid and has $200-$400 left on his check after and you need $200 .. you will get $200 and he will have to settle with some or none.
It says voluntary. So I doubt you have to do it.
@kuehnk11, yeah I wouldn’t want him on it either. But if he petitions for it and can prove he’s the dad you can’t stop him unfortunately. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’d say the benefit to him on it is child support but if he has 4 older kids to pay for you’d get pennies. Not worth it.
@whereswaldo, he doesn’t have any he pays for. He’s asking so much and ruined my relationship threw my pregnancy already. He only sees 1 and that’s very rare...

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
