Scarlette has an appointment today and I'm not looking forward to it because my baby is getting a shot. Ughhhhh!!! I hate to see her cry, it truly breaks my heart !! On another note, I cant wait to see how much my little one has grown and she starts baby food today as well !! Wish us luck!!

It’s bitter sweet when they are getting so big. She however shouldn’t get baby food for another 2 months.

I know some doctors aren’t upto with the new regulations. But it’s now recommended to wait until 6 months, when they can sit unassisted and lost their tongue thrush reflex. I can send you some links so you can do your own research if you’d like.

4-6 months is normal baby food time. They usually want you to wait for tongue reflexs and for allergy reasons but if you are comfortable go for it

Thanks hun. I'm just going by what her pediatrician told me was okay. She said if she showed the signs of being ready for it, I could go ahead and introduce it to her but not alot at once. So i only have given her a tablespoon amount.

You’re also supposed to wait until 6 months because their tummies aren’t quite ready yet before then. Also as my kiddos doctor says, food before 1 is just for fun.
