Question mamas! So my daughter is 4 months old and she has sort of a flat head in the back! I’m sooo worried! Will it fix itself as she starts sitting up more and crawling? She absolutely hates tummy time and I have been rotating her head from side to side during nap time. What else can I do!?

My daughter had one and went to therapy for it. She hated tummy time to but you absolutely have to force it to help the head. Use toys and play with her. Put her on her sides to and she if she likes that better, obviously help support her. Also i was told to face her in different directions throughout the night after feedings because her head will mostly be trying to look for mom and dad (she slept in my room until 6 months)

Idk if it’s normal or not. But I’ve seen a few people on here who got helmets to help with their baby’s head.

They say a lot of babies have a flat head there first few months of life.

Have you talked to her pediatrician about it?

@sharlie_kiosse, he also said that some pediatricians use helmets if they are bad but he said he doesn’t because he doesn’t think they are needed

my coworkers son is 7 months and had to wear a helmet for his flat head. Always try and seek a second opinion if you’re gut is telling you otherwise.
