Anyone have had or has a doula ? Was she very helpful while in labor ?

Thank you ladies ! I get a lot of mixed feed back about 50 50 honestly I just wanted someone there during labor and delivery but I heard to many times of them not showing up or them not being the one to show up 😩
Mine was never there at the hospital so I wont be doing that again it was my hubby n mom n law
I had a midwife ❤️ she was my blessing from the heavens
My midwife was shit lol. She was like wen u go In Labor let them know I’m your midwife and they will let me know so wen it happened she never even showed I had a whole random lady come deliver my kid and the nurse was the one comforting me smh
@divine.mommy, yeah I found a location that had a team of them I met with teach one and the ones that were at the hospital when I birthed were amazing I’m sorry to hear!
I had. And am! A doula. I wouldn’t not have been able to have natural births without my doulas.
Mines was very nice and hold my legs for me and calmed down
