I think this way every time I drive past a river.. I immediately think I wonder how many bodies are in there right now, or wonder if there happened to be one just on the side where I can’t see. Probably because every time I look on the news they’re finding yet another body in the river.
My biggest thoughts are how many times I have walked past someone who is stuck with someone under their will and kidnapped etc but can’t say anything... shit like this breaks my heart cause I can’t do anything because I don’t know.
I called police one time because a guy walking with a little girl who came through my line (I worked at Walmart at the time) she just didn’t seem right & neither did he & they were acting strange. Plus she just kept giving me this look like she wanted me to know something wasn’t okay. I panicked. Called the police. Took down his license plate & times of where they were in the store & what time they left. I walked out of my job mid shift to literally finish watching them the entire time in the parking lot to get as much detail as possible. It was honestly terrifying & I still think about it to this day. Cause cops don’t call back with updates.
