Ugh I’m getting sick. My throat hurts so bad and my nose is stuffy. Now I’m freaking out I’m going to get my son sick. How do I keep from getting him sick ?

My son started pre k when my baby was about 3m. The whole house was sick. A lot. Baby seemed to get a lot less sick than the rest of us. Minor version I think because of the antibodies from my milk.

I got sick a lot after my baby was born and we stayed with my parents for a while and them n my bros all got sick too at some point and she didn’t get sick at all!! 2 weeks ago she got sick for the first time and She just recovered from it !!! But I think she got sick because I dont breastfeed her tht much anymore maybe like once every other day but Idk if breastfeeding helps them from getting sick.. I breastfed her all the time so I’m not sure if that played a part on why she never got sick .!

I am breastfeeding as well so hopefully that is what helped. I was freaking out he would get it

If you are still breastfeeding that’s the best thing for him. It should keep him protected and nurse as often as he needs so he gets all the antibodies from your milk.

@supermomof4, it’s my nose and throat. So idk if it’s a cold or maybe allergies

I know breastfeeding helps prevent the baby’s from really getting sick(correct me if I’m wrong though please) but I think my daughter is getting sick. I’ve never had a baby get sick this little before...I’m not sure what to do..
With all 3 of my previous pregnancies I didn’t get morning sickness but this one is kicking my butt! Everything is making sick I’m having a hard time eating😩🤢

When my son was 2 months old(he literally just turned 2 months the day this was going on) my brother and I got extremely sick, it was the first time in years that I had gotten and ear ache, woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain in my ear and my throat was hurting. I was so sick that my mom kept Noah downstairs with her one night so that I could sleep because me not getting sleep was just going to make it worse. It was so bad, but he NEVER got sick, not once. He was still going off my immune system still and I was still trying to get breast milk in him so he never once got whatever it is that I had.
