Which one is right? Can I eat before I go test? Or should I wait. I can’t remember
No eating after 7 the night before and only drink water
That's what I was told the first two pregnancies. This pregnancy I didn't have it yet. They usually tell you what you need to do though
It's the doctors preference. Call and ask
It’s ok to eat because the food in your body had nothing to do with the sugar they will give you to intake into your body to test you for the test. Actually I feel that if you don’t eat anything you might get a different result that you might not like because your body will only have a lot of sugar. If you normally eat this or that than the test will come out accordingly to your normal body with it’s normal food intake. If that makes any sense ..
So I had my test 8a. Because I was told not to eat or drink after midnight. So 8 hours. 🤷🏻♀️ Anythhng in your stomach changes the way your body will react to the liquid for the test. 🤷🏻♀️
With all 4 of my babies my dr said eat as I normally would
The 1 hour test you can, the 3 hour test tho, you have to fast.
For a normal 1 hour glucose no fasting is needed so if you want to eat or drink something before hand just make sure it isn't sugary. For the 2 hour glucose or even the 3 hour glucose you have to fast
It’s ok to eat! My doctor said they don’t expect pregnant women not to eat. She did say to keep the meal prior low carb.
Before hand i ate a burger from mcdonalds and some fries. I was just told that i couldnt have anything after i started the drink
For the 1h one I was never told to fast. For the 2h (3 draws) I was told not to eat after midnight. Did my 2h yesterday and also was told I couldn’t drink even water after I had the glucose drink. Make sure you drink plenary of water beforehand so they can find your veins. 😊
I ate but very simple. I think it was eggs and maybe plain toast. I past. I only had water.
You don’t need to fast for one hour their levels are higher so you will pass if you don’t have it
I'm actually having mine this morning, mine said no food for two hours prior, so they schedule them intentionally in the mornings lol
I honestly went early morning for my test and didn’t drink anything besides water
I didn’t have to fast or do any prep. Doctors are different I would call and ask just to be safe
I didn’t have to fast for my 1hr glucose test my OB just said to not eat a lot of sugar before going in

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
I was told don’t eat or drink 2hr before the test
