Anyone else ever have a stronger bond with baby #2? I feel so guilty because I bonded with my youngest more than my oldest...I do breast feed my youngest...oldest I did not and he’s a major daddies boy!! I love my boys equally but I don’t know how to explain it...compared baby wise I feel like I def bonded with my youngest and I’m like the worse mom ever for that :(

I don’t think I bond more with my second. I feel like I’m doing a better job as a mother this time since I’m not learning and kind of know what I’m doing I spend more time loving her I guess instead of having no idea what I’m doing along the way. I also feel my second is more attached to me and is not as independent as her sister was. I too love both my daughters equally but differently if that makes sense?

I've always felt more connected to my youngest than my oldest. I think its because I knew I what I was doing when he came so i wasnt as nervous. Hes also a cuddle bug where his brother is not so he soaks up the attention.

Yes! I always attributed it to girls vs boys but I did get to hold him immediately and nursed him where with her I was whisked away immediately after her birth and then was on meds...it was a cluster. Love my kids equally but I definitely feel closer to my son bc of that.

Maybe its not a stronger bond. Maybe its just that the baby is a baby and you interact with a baby differently than with older children. Babies are so cute, squishy and little and they smell good and make these cute little sounds. Toddlers on the otherhand are.....well you know lol

You know you might be right lol especially my little terror! I love him and o continued his bed time routine of books and kisses before bed so he never felt left out...it was hard especially with little sleep at the beginning but I probably should spend kore time with him to let go of this guilt! Lol
