Which prenatal appointments are the most important to go to?
Which are the most common of vaccinations that I would get during these appointments?
Looking into a natural doctor that would see me during my pregnancy and maybe get a midwife.
Anybody go to a natural doctor or do a more natural approach?

I don’t think we will get many vaccines while pregnant. I think all I got last pregnancy was the flu shot. I know with this pregnancy I need the measles vaccine but cannot get it until after my pregnancy.

I’ve heard that almost all women should get vaccinated for whooping cough but who knows.
Wasn’t sure if anybody else had more or none during their pregnancy.

First is good, because they make sure it’s a viable pregnancy. Anatomy scan is important because they really check out baby to see if any additional testing is needed.

I got the dtap while pregnant. And got the whooping cough one before I had my son. Other than that I just got the rhogram shot.

First appointment and then anatomy scan if say after definitely 2 important ones. Tdap is done around 30s If you aren't up to date with your vaccines that would be something you talk to your doctor.

I did a natural birth but went to every dr appointment. She was able to make sure i was regularly on a prenatal vitamin and give me some ideas on eating right to help with my little girls over all health. I ended up having a natural birth at the hospital only hooked up to IV for fluids and it was a magical experience. Id look into doctors and obs that like natural approaches to carrying, labor and delivery. My doctor was a mother of 4 who had all of hers naturally so she knew how to help me.

Husband contacted a holistic hospital a few minutes ago.
I’m excited to make an appointment so hopefully they contact us soon.

i went out of town for mine like 15 minutes away bc i had heard such good reveiws about my doctor. I got my tubes removed after our daughter bc we only wanted one child but if i ever wanted another child id go back to her. She was amazing.

During your third trimester you are offered the whopping cougar shot and then at your 36 appointment you get swabbed in your vagina to see if you have a certain type of infection (i forgot the name) that way they know if you have it at the time of birth
