Regarding my last post, is there any way to tell if you're dilating? I mean symptom wise. I was 1cm at the hospital the other day and since we've left I've noticed increased discomfort and some crampyness around my cervical area(or at least if feels that way). I had no pain after having my cervix checked at all. (3times in total) I had very minor pale pink spotting but only the day I was discharged. It's now two days almost three days later and I've only had this discomfort since the day after I was discharged. I know it's not advised to check your cervix yourself and I wouldn't know if there's been any change honestly in the first place. My doctor won't be open till Monday and I can't shake the fear that the contractions I've had since the day I was admitted to the hospital have slowly caused more dilation.

My cousin had contractions for 3 weeks straight and stayed at a 3. They ended up having to induce her at 39 weeks.

pain doesn't equal dilation. dunno why they checked your cervix so early. if pain increases and doesn't let up thats a concern

They had to check my cervix to make sure I wasn't dilating prematurely because I was having contractions showing up on an NST about every 4 ish minutes.
