I wanted to wait a week to see if it was true, but baby Eric definitely has colic. Every single night since May 4th at 5:30pm (literally on the dot.) Eric starts scream crying, and it lasts for hours. The only thing that calms him for about 30-40mins is a warm bath & swaddled super super tight. I’m praying he grows out of this stage soon. It’s so hard when my toddler is begging for attention and I have to keep sushing her, and telling her “just a minute.” 😣

I’m sorry you’re going through this 😔❤️ my daughter had colic too and it was so tough! That’s part of the reason why we co-sleep because she wouldn’t sleep anywhere but my chest and now she hates her crib 😩. It started getting better at 4 months old! Hope your little one gets better soon 💙

Thank you! I read that the worst of it is usually 4-6 weeks old. He’s six weeks old on Tuesday so I’m hoping it will taper off soon.

Gas drops and Mommy’s Bliss gripe water helped us some with my son’s colic. We alternated in each breast milk bottle.
His vibrating seat was also helpful, along with using a pacifier, warm rice pack, and bicycling his legs.

We don’t have anything that vibrates but I’ll get something at Target tomorrow! I’ve been trying all the other things you listed. I didn’t even think of vibration- thank you!

yeah, our little guy liked to sit in his vibrating giraffe seat with his paci when walking & bouncing didn’t work or the shhhing sound.

I switched to Gentle Ease and my son was better within hours. My next baby girl will go from breastfeeding then straight to gentle ease if I don't produce enough milk

See, ugh. I we tried Gentle Ease but he acted like he was starving! My daughter was on Gentlease and had no problems. We loved it for her, so I was super disappointed in him not liking it.

I'm so sorry you had that experience. I would get the Sam's Club brand though. It was thicker formula than Enfamil

yeah just try it I totally feel you I would sit there and cry with him because I couldn’t make him stop and I felt so bad , I hope your lil one feels better

Ohh man I’m so sorry, mama.
My son had that too but he also had milk protein allergy, it took everyone a few wks to figure it out. Once we did & put him on a special formula he was so much happier.

It could be gas pains too, both my boys did this for 4 whos straight it was exhausting!
