I need some serious help with baby and daddy bonding. OH is always working do doesn't see him much, so LO always tantrums for him. In return OH feels unwanted and cant be bothered to waste time bonding, which obviously leads to LO being even more tantrummy. I give him opportunities all the time like this morning I said would you like to help me bath him and he said yes then decided to stay in bed

He wont take him anywhere by himself and to be honest I wont leave him with LO because he just doesn't know what to do and treats him like a teenager I.e if he wont eat he'll just shout well you can starve and put him on his bedroom crying as if he understands.

That's not right he should ask u for advice on how to deal with him and want to learn to be the best dad if that's what he wants as it sounds like he just agitated and it's one way or no way and the only way the bonding will happen is if he works at it and puts in the effort and the time to allow the bond to form

I just want him to be able to spend 5 minutes with LO without LO tantrumming because the mood just completely changes and we both just get irrate

When OH spends time with LO get him to do something constructive like play with toys or have play time or something as that should not be how it is he should be happy to have the time with LO
