Couldn't you bring whatever you want to the hospital for YOUR BABY?

I want to take my own pacifiers because I do not like the ones that they give you at the hospital

You can take whatever you want but the hospital provides diapers and wipes and ready to go bottles but you never know if baby is going to be allergic to the diapers they provide or not. I brought my own diapers and used the hospital ones.

The hospital provides everything. They give you diapers and wipes and the lil bottles already made with nipples. They give you for as long as you'll be in the hospital. Really all you need is to take the carseat, and maybe 3 -4outfits. Thats what Im gonna do. I'll be there 4 days

With our first I took everything. Diapers, wipes and my own breast pump. I brought a pillow and blanket from home (this one I would actually recommend. My hospitals SUCK!) The only things you HAVE to have for baby are a going home outfit and carseat. The hoslital does provide anything and everything else baby. I have always breastfed so I don't know what the necessities for formula feeding are. Like if you need to bring your own bottles and formula. The rest is really just things you want to have for both you and baby. You're the mama. Do what makes you happy and comfortable 💜

It's my fiancee's mother who is freaking telling me this stupid crap because she thinks that she's going to tell me what I can't and can do with my baby and she has already been telling me that stupid stuff but if I do need to ask anyone I'll be asking my mother from now on or I'll just figure it out on my own

Okay good because I'm having people tell me that I don't need to take my own stuff because the hospital has what I need and I was like so in my head because i want to bring my own things like my own pacifiers because i hate the ones that the hospital gives you
