Question ; I only get like 2 ultrasounds for my whole pregnancy but I always see moms saying their babies are about a certain amount of pounds towards the end of their pregnancy .
Do the doctors give you another ultrasound to determine that or do they guess ?

I got a final ultrasound at 39.5 weeks to check position. But all together I got 3 ultrasounds with 2 extra 4D ultrasounds that I paid out of pocket for.

Ohk . Yes I paid for one gender reveal ultrasound too . Ima ask my doctor will she look at baby before I go into labor .

I think the standard is 3. Dating scan, 12w anomaly and 20w anatomy. I paid out of pocket near the end for a 3/4D

I’m getting my last ultrasound at 36 weeks to see baby’s position & give an estimated guess on weight.

I think standard procedure is three ultrasounds per pregnancy however if you’re high-risk I think you get more. I was high risk with both babies and just about every single time I went to the OB I had an ultrasound towards the end of my pregnancies I had 3 to 4 ultrasounds a week😬

I mean it can’t hurt to ask your OB but I know theres 3 you get, that insurance pays for

I only get 2 ultrasounds. My dr never tells me how much my baby might weigh. At my anatomy scan though the tech said she weighed about 15oz but that’s the only time I’ll hear anything about weight until she’s born.
