Idk when to mention it to my Dr, but by this being my last pregnancy I'm definitely trying to do things differently. After birth I swear all you can focus on seeing your brand new bundle and making sure baby is ok, but I've always wanted to "pass" my placenta and keep baby connected to receive EVERYTHING IT'S SUPPOSED TO! I know some Dr's do this, but can they refuse to do so?

Most do delay cord clamping. But idk about keeping baby attached to placenta. Once it stops pulsing it’s pretty much useless.

You're right once it stops pulsating it's useless, but it doesnt stop pulsating right after birth. I will definitely be asking my Dr if they do this thank you

I’d ask for delayed cord clamping. That’s when they wait for it to stop pulsing.
