Any other Momma’s on here been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes? I got the dreaded call on Tuesday morning. I’m currently trying to diet control, monitoring my blood sugars 4 times a day. I’m back to see the diabetes team on Wednesday and to have my first growth scan. I’m no expert but my numbers aren’t looking good as they’re more often than not over target, so I’m expecting to be put on medication. So much to take in, especially when I’m struggling to understand what I should and shouldn’t do 🤦🏻♀️ ... Anyway, there’s my little moan over. xxx

Cereal doesn’t seem to agree with me at all. My new go-to breakfast is brown toast with peanut butter, and that seems to keep me just in range. Cereal sends me way over 🤦🏻♀️ xx
I had it with my second pregnancy I controlled it with my diet. And it went away. I hope I dont have it this time go back in 3 weeks to test
I had GDD with my LG but managed to control it with diet. Try taking a walk after u have eaten but before u do ur bloods as I found that helped me xx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Any moms with gestational diabetes that had to be induced early because of it? They’re treating me as though I have gestational diabetes, but I’m not having to be medicated for it and my levels are good when I check them.

Yes with my 2nd and now on the same pathway with my 3rd but I’m only 16 weeks Monday and sugars so far are good except the odd few, just waiting to see what happens as time goes on! It is overwhelming, I went the other way with being worried and was told to eat more, I lived on Quorn and veg basically but you do need carbs. Try oatibix for breakfast, I read about that on a diabetes website and had them every morning as I knew they kept me in limits x
