So I applied for a job a while back at Wendy's (ughhh another fast food) to be a manager, when I had a babysitter. And they just called me today. My SO is telling me to call them back and not worry about the details right now. I think that's just foolish. We don't have family to watch our son. Our only option is him but he doesn't have a set schedule, his boss calls him and expect him to drop everything and run. He doesn't understand how hard it is for me because when I was working previously I had to sit there until he texted me just to see if he would be home in time, if he wasn't I had to run everywhere looking for someone to watch my son. He just say "we will figure it out later" we don't have later. And no one is gonna appreciate the manager showing up late several times a week. Idk what to do cause we need the money, we do fine we could just use extra. I can't afford to put him in daycare that would basically be my whole check. 😣 my family is not around and his wo nt watch our son. I have my grandma but she watches 3 toddlers plus a 6 month old already! I don't wanna put all that on her. What would you Do?

We will probably have to tell his boss the same thing! When I was working before he would let my SO go home but hed have to go back to work at like 11pm at night. We're gonna talk to his mom and sister about it and see if they can help out because I probably will be working night time but I have to go like 25 minutes out of the way to get my son to them.

Do you even know what shift it is for? I would call them back and be uofront. Say that you wanted to find out the details..pay, hours/wk, shift and just tell them that you're very interested in the position and would like a few days to arrange child care.

Yes it's going to be a couple days morning a couple days night. They like to switch so that it's not one person constantly cleaning/ or opening. Thank you he will call me in the morning so I'll express these concerns.
