Has anyone bled for 9 weeks or more during postpartum? I’m still bleeding and being sent to have ultrasounds and blood work done. It’s making me super nervous something is wrong. Anyone else have this happen?

Yep, they did an ultrasound and found retained placenta. Had to have a d&c.

@tennesseehawk hope you get answers soon! If this is it it was an immediate fix, I think I bled for 3 more days and then it was pad free! 💓

my dr wasn’t concerned at all. I honestly think in the USA (I’m in Canada) they cause a lot of unnecessary stress and make you go do tests simply for the drs to get paid more. When will you get ultrasound done?

I can agree to this, I have experienced this before. Ultrasound is scheduled for Monday
