My son comes to us this morning and says sadly .. someone at school told me I’m a boy and boys cut their hair.. I cut my hair?

Me and his dad instantly felt some type of way..

It’s not that we are making our son keep his hair but he loves his hair and at age 2 it’s grown apart of him.

Now that someone tells him he should cut it .. he feels like it’s something wrong with having long hair? That’s a problem to me!

Plenty of boys have long hair. I even make sure he’s well groomed before leaving home EVERY morning. All I could tell him is if he likes his hair that’s all that matters but if he wants to cut it we can.

His dad says he’s going to go talk with the ppl at the school.. I just feel as though we let it be.. it’s more boys there with long hair so it’s not like a dress code or anything I just don’t agree with someone being in his ear telling him that. Kid or adult 🙄 am I wrong ?
