Any tips for newborn spit up? And yes I burp her after each feeding. Seems no matter what I've tried she spits up even a small amount after each feed and then gets fussy, which starts the whole cycle over again...Any tips would be appreciated 😓

If you’ve already got the burping down, try and keep her fairly upright for half hour after every feeding

Well sometimes she burps, sometimes not, but she'll spit up right after a burp too which makes me feel like I'm just making her sick

at your next wellness check with your doctor I would recommend asking about reflux just in case. My daughter had silent reflux so the spit up would come up her throat but she sort of choked it down again instead of spitting it up. Babies sometimes don’t have a fully matured esophageal sphincter so liquids can come right back up very easily. I also recommend looking up different burping methods. The standard pat on the back is not always the most efficient

Not sure if you breastfeeding or bottle or both?🤷♀️😙..but I was recently told by my sons pediatrician that sometimes they'll gasp up air in between sucking, which causes the spit ups also but to burp halfway through feeding then burp again when finished and let him sit up for at least 15 mins.and if it's big spit ups they're over eating and if formula fed they might be lactose intolerant to the formula being it's made with cow milk and to perhaps try another brand...i hope that helps a little..🌼👶

Just breastfeeding, yea I figured she may be getting too much but it's hard to know if and when I should stop her... thanks!

yeah Im just breastfeeding too he's 3 months now and his dr told me this at his month check up and that also because our breast milk flow can get really fast sometimes, it can cause them to gulp and gasp up air... I do 20 mins on both sides..
