What are your thoughts on this ?

I want to see the evidence. There hasn’t been enough studies or research on pregnant women smoking marijuana.

For me I feel while pregnant a woman should wait I don't care how sick you are while pregnant it can wait. And any doctor who says its "ok" needs to have his license revoked same with wine. This is just MY opinion I dont hate on others for there own thoughts

I used cannabis during pregnancy for HG.

I use THC & CBD to help me sleep.

HOWEVER, I’d neverrrrr use it while pregnant. Way too ignorant in my opinion. There may not be enough research to back this, however there was a time that there wasn’t enough research to support drinking and/or smoking cigarettes while pregnant.

Just don’t want to risk anything bad happening to my child

I was hospitalized for morning sickness and had also quit smoking weed when finding out pregnant. I couldn't keep anything down for the life of me and kept passing out because of low blood sugar. I lost 25lbs in 5 weeks. It was a real dangerous situation. I told my midwives I had quit smoking weed and they saidthat I should just try a puff or 2 when I felt sick. So I did and what do you know I could actually eat a healthy meal and keep it down. I did cut drastically back but it was the only thing that allowed me to eat. My daughter is now 3.5 and is so smart. Can dress herself, tie her shoes, count to 5o and knows her abcs. She had no problem paying attention and sitting still. She is kind to every person she meets and had never showed any sign of aggression towards anyone. I almost lost her because I couldn't eat. So in my books it's safe in small amounts as long as your not out there getting blasted and doing huge bong tokes, then to each is own.

I’ve got real bad anxiety, always have since I was a kid. I tried different types of medications and never liked the way they made me feel. So I resorted to weed and honestly, it’s the only thing that actually helps. I didn’t start smoking until after my son. So when I found out I was pregnant with baby girl and I stopped. Although, I had horrible morning sickness. Within 2 weeks, I had lost 35 pounds, was extremely dehydrated and could barely move around without getting dizzy. I read so many articles about smoking and pregnancy, asked my OB and asked a close friend who is an RN about it. Out of all my research, including info from my OB, there isn’t conclusive research to show that weed affects the baby negatively. There isn’t enough studies to completely rule it out (like smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol). So I decided to smoke one or two hits, just enough, so I can hold food down. And it worked!! My baby girl was born at exactly 40 weeks, 8lbs 13oz and 19.5 in long. She didn’t have tremors or crying uncontrollably or any other issues they say babies can have... I honestly think that weed is just frowned upon and so there isn’t a lot of studies on it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d stay away even if it was said to be okay just like it’s okay to have a glass of wine while pregnant to me personally it’s not worth the risk however what another mom chooses to do is he decision and there isn’t enough studies to prove negative affect of marijuana use while pregnant or nursing.

My mom smoked weed when she was pregnant with all her kids and we turned out fine. I smoked in my pregnancy to help with nausea and other issues I had. But I didn’t smoke my whole pregnancy. I smoked when I breastfed cause that was the only way I could eat and deal with postpartum. There’s not enough research to say if smoking weed during pregnancy causes any harm to the baby. Every doctor I go says the same thing and a lot of their “research” isn’t really research is theories and possibilities not actual facts.
