Something that I spoke up about even before I had my second son at 29 weeks. Pregnancy is meant to be a 40 week journey. It’s not easy or comfortable but it’s about bringing another life into this world and it’s not all about you anymore. Of course, if your healthcare provider believes you need to deliver early then this doesn’t apply, but it’s upsetting to see people talk about “being done”, asking for natural labor tips at 30 weeks to “prep” their body, mentioning dangerous options like caster oil (just don’t, okay), etc. baby will come when he, she, or they are ready. The discomforts of pregnancy don’t last forever. (This post isn’t meant to be about any one person, I found this on Facebook and wanted to share).

Yes! I had my daughter at 39w5d and my son at 40w and they were both over 7 lbs and extremely healthy! It was sooo hard the last couple weeks and I just wanted it to be over but I’m so thankful for their health and mine 😍
