I know the doctors can stop them, but I have no idea what the meds are called. They gave them to me thru IV when I had preterm labor at 30 weeks. I know drinking water & laying down can help them stop but that’s more for Braxton Hicks, so if they’re not that I wouldn’t waste time & head to the hospital.

Magnesium. I have been told potassium helps. Also rest and water.
