For Mother’s Day I want to be by myself lol.. like peace and quiet. Not doing a thing. What is everyone doing for Mother’s Day?

@mamabear008 I hope too but with my hubs it's hard because he always wants me to do something. May tell him to suck it.
We usually go out to dinner with my husbands family because his grandmother likes everyone to go out. Kind of annoys me though because I have to give up every single Mother’s Day to do what my husbands grandma wants & I feel it’s kind of annoying. Like why can’t we do this every other year or make it optional but if we didn’t show up, we would never hear the end of it 🙄 it’s like, I get she’s the grandmother but if we wanna be technical she’s not MY grandmother & I don’t even see my own mom or grandmas on Mother’s Day cause I’m always with his. I just feel it’s unfair to not just me but his aunt as well that we never get to enjoy a Mother’s Day to do what WE want. I thought the point of Mother’s Day was to have a day dedicated to you being a mom, so I wanna spend my day doing absolutely nothing with my kids. Not stressing to get everyone ready to run out the door & go eat dinner.
Yea that sucks. Hopefully one year you can finally get your day to whatever you want. Yea girl I want to rest and alone that tbh
my husband has to work so I am gonna take the kids to see my mom and have dinner together.
My husband is going to be gone. So I’ll probably take the kids to the park and hit up Dairy Queen lol maybe do some arts and crafts lol aka- make a fucking mess in my kitchen just to see my children smile and enjoy themselves. 😆
That seems fun. Im not really sure what I’m doing on Sunday but I know for sure I asked my husband for 3hours so I can get some rest lol. I do wanna make homemade crafts with my oldest to give to his grandmas

Idk yet. Hubs bday so I'm going to a party Saturday. Sunday I'm not sure but my mom is keeping my baby all weekend as a gift for me.
