After the week we've had with this poor child being so sick we totally needed this. I would've taken it from literally anyone but this is from his very sweet pediatrician! So happy we've found her 😍

A lot of doctors are like this. My doctor has been my family doctor since my sister was born 16 years ago. He was going to be my daughter’s doctor as well but he was full when I had her so his assistant is her actual doctor but she has seen him before and he gives all his patients his cell phone number in case you need him outside of office hours. It’s just a relief to have someone who cares, especially if you are a parent.

mine is part of a large practice that operates all through a computer. To put people at ease and to lessen the time between communications she gives her cell phone number. This has prevented us from making unnecessary trips in to the office. No one is obligated to communicate this way but it's an option for the parents who do. I appreciate very much. Especially for things like this. If I were to call the office to ask that 1 question it would be tomorrow when I'd get a callback from them.

It has started to become more popular over the years. I also think too many people are using urgent cares as primary care. This helps to reduce that, I don't bother with urgent care bc I can contact her first. I've never had an issue where i had to rush him in. This allowed me to wait until she was available or not have to be seen at all.
