I don’t know about you all, but this toddler parenting thing is hard work!! And I’ve really been thinking and I find that I am in such conflict with myself, I want my child to listen and be respectful, and when they don’t there are consequences but it’s such an internal conflict, I feel like I am going against my own grain but societal pressures tell me that if my child does A I need to respond by doing B. How do you all cope!? I find myself almost spinning out because I feel bad about yelling and he feels sad because I yelled. 😫
Agree ☝️☝️☝️
I let my son pick up grass and put it in his mouth, a lady was baffled that I would do such a thing. He litterally spit it out as soon as he tasted it and felt the texture. 🤷♀️ I let him problem solve on how to get out of situations hes put himself into. Other mommas might run to their rescue. It's all about how you feel you need to handle things.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
My 18 month old listens good for a toddler i think. She knows to stop what she's doing if i say no ma'am. I didn't want to try yelling or a pop on the hand because i grew up feeling demeaned by those. I just calmly tell her no and usually I'll say "ouch" she knows that means it could hurt her and it detours her. It's hard sometimes bc my in laws live with us and they absolutely cater to anything she wants even if it could hurt her.... i teach her one thing is bad but they go back and let her think it's not. Thats a whole other level of frustration. I literally avoid my child having any alone time with them because of this.
