My SO’s older brother was in a really bad accident a week ago. Right now he is in a medically induced coma. The doctors say it could be a few weeks before he wakes up.
I am praying he wakes up sooner than that. For all of his body parts function exactly how they did before. I pray the brain swelling doesn’t get worse (idk if it can. But they took a piece of his skull to relieve the pressure.)
We just got back from visiting him in the hospital. (10-12 hour drive there!) Helped hang the wanted flyers all around downtown. We plan to go back in a few weeks. We want to be there when he wakes up.

Prayers 🙏🏽 This happened to a close family member a week before Christmas they said a few weeks for him to wake up as well he was awake in a week and a half tho. It’s been almost 6 months and he’s in a rehabilitation centre learning to walk and function normally again now!

We all hope he wakes up earlier. Of course we would like to be there. But we have our own responsibilities. His mom was talking about selling his house and moving all his things into hers. She was planning to retire in 2 years. But told her boss she will be once He is able to come home.

Yes that was the same with my family
Member they said they wanted to keep him in for a few weeks but decided to let him wake after a week and a half due to progress. It will be a long journey but I hope & pray your bil has the same outcome 💖💖

@rayofmysunshine, yrs ago when my niece had stage 4 brain cancer she was put in a medical induced coma it is to help take pressure and or swelling off of the brain ,think positive during this difficult time
