My oldest. I started when he turned 2, he got it within a few months and did great! My second. I introduced at 2, he could be bribed but other then that no interest. Waited till he was 3 and got it right away. My daughter, she hated pooping. So she would go on the potty from like 18/19months. Then at 2 introduced potty training full time and she picked it up pretty quick.

@katiesn, my boys are 10 and 6 and they still have issues totally wiping their butts!

@sarasmilesatyou, get a seat they are comfortable with. Take toys or books or tablets. And hang out till something happens. Go every 2 hours even if they say they don’t have to! When they go reward! We did candy, then sticker charts and toys. Every kid is different!! Don’t make it a fight though. That’ll just make things take longer and be more difficult

My oldest 2 I started the same month that they turned 2 years old. Every child is different, but it came very easily for both of them and only took a few days. Whenever you're ready to start, I believe you have to be fully committed, no going back and forth

I just potty trained .my 2.5 year old. I tried around 18 months, then I tried back in January, and as of lately I just said screw it and tried again. I just took away diapers, had 3 days worth of accidents, and I guess it clicked or something because he hasn't had an accident in over a week now

they say the second child is always the troublemaker lol. How did you teach your boy? Sitting down? When do they learn to stand up when they pee?

I taught him sitting down, I honestly don't know when to teach him to stand up, I feel like when he's a little bit older

I have to tell him to make sure his pee pee is in the potty and not up, because he has peed on himself and we're working on that. We also bought him pull ups for night time but he absolutely refuses to wear them so we usually try to limit liquids by night time and put a towel under him
