HOW DO I TALK TO HER ABOUT IT... So I'm dreading the day this baby starts to grow up and go with the father more for my 6 year old daughter to start asking when she can go or why no one takes her out... By the way she'll be 7 when this baby is born and she's really smart she knows who her real dad is and he's never been in her life but I know as she gets 8 or 9 she'll start to feel left out
I wouldn't stress it. My son is 10 and never asks about his dad
I feel that's how she's going to be too
She won’t if you make things as even as possible. Meaning plan things when the other will have plans. Sometimes we’re over thinking stuff and children just want attention
But I feel like girls still want the attention of a dad
@tyneziah, they she will but that’s not for you to worry about. As a mom prepare yourself. Answer as much as she can handle. And make sure she feels just as special
I'm in a single moms group they said to try and tell her the best way you can and in terms she will understand and let her know theres nothing wrong with having or being raised by one parent especially since she has the rest of her family that loves her.
Thank you I'm going to try and find a group as well because I remember you said something about it before
@tyneziah If you find me on Facebook I can invite you tot he single mom groups I'm in I'm in 3
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
If she becomes upset, reassure her that you’ll always be her mother and she can come to you for anything she would come to a father for. If she doesn’t become upset at all, I wouldn’t say much about it. Just keep making plans with her and do fun stuff to keep her busy when the other kids are out.
