I'm so worried I'm not weaning properly 😭😭

This may help with the worry of choking. Just offer a little bit at a time on plate or tray and remember the saying ‘food before one is just for fun’

If your son is healthy and happy, then you are going just fine, forget what other people are doing xxx

Every baby is different there isn’t a lot of 7m babies that take full meals doing baby led weaning. Babies and introducing different textures is scary as babies are highly likely to gag (not choke) but this is a good thing for them to learn. Go with your instincts for textures and try to have fun with it

Have you tried a soft food feeder? (I don't know what they're called but it's a net you put soft food in and baby sucks it out) might help his hand to eye co ordination so he doesn't put food on too far x

I just feel like I'm not doing it right when I see moms giving babies full meals, finger food.. etc.. I'm just so worried about him choking! I hate it it scares me so much weaning 😩 xxx

I worry about this everyday. I give him purées whenever I can, I’ve tried him on finger foods but he’s such a greedy man he tries to stuff it all in and struggles 🙈. Follow your instincts and go at yours and your babs own pace. 👌 always a message away if you need a chat xx
