Tonight has been a complete disaster. I've been trying to move back into sleeping in the bedroom instead of the living room. Well when babygirl started crying my son got up so I put him back in bed and fed her all the while he's crying in his bed as soon as I got back in bed he went over and started pulling on the pack n play and tipping it so I yelled at him and he started screaming even louder. Needless to say we are back on the couch.

It wouldn't surprise me. But we live with my MIL who will get irritated really fast with me being out here.

Have you tried a sound machine or fan to cut down on the noise that bothers everyone. When my 2 year old was newborn my eldest woke at every noise until my husband gave in and let me use the fan (not blowing on anyone just circulating the air and more importantly causing moderate amount of white noise.
Everyone slept better even the (at the time) newborn.
