Anyone else's little one not respond/ notice when they are in there own world? Like we try to say his name or talk to him we even could literally clap or snap our finger around or by his ears and he doesn't respond? I don't know if we are just over thinking/worrying. It just seems like he's not been hitting many milestones since he hit one... sorry for long message just need some advice it's been worrying us a lot recently
okay hopefully things go well at appointment I just wanna know what to do and how to help him grow and learn I want to help him to hit those milestones. It is good to hear though the things we thought might possibly the issue is what others are recommending to ask doctor about
We were debating on bringing that up as well to doctor on 15th. Just wasent sure if that can be a possibility at this age etc.
Have his hearing tested and discuss this with his pediatrician asap
He has 15 month check up on the 15th was gonna bring it up then but no he only had the newborn hearing done
like he respond when paying attention but if he's at all not notice or paying attention he doesnt respond we have wondering if he's maybe bad of hearing or just really spacing out/in his own little world
Only hearing he has had done was newborn hearing test other then that nothing yet.
@davidj66, ok, I would definitely ask his pediatrician about testing him. My son had to get tubes in from constant ear infections and failing his hearing tests.
@theycallmemommy se has never had an ear infections or issues we just noticed more and more he doesnt respond in less you talking to him right in front of his face etc.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@davidj66, I agree with an autism evaluation as well, they can show signs as babies
