I don’t understand women who want to give birth before 37 weeks or who try to induce labor before…

Me either. I ruptured at 36w 5d and I had to get induced it was the worse thing just thinking my baby was still little. I begged them go find some other way to keep up with some fluids in me even told them I would stay in hospital until 39 or 40 weeks and they just couldn’t. Had to get shots for his lungs to strengthen. I was so scare, but thank God he was born exactly at 37 weeks and very healthy. But I just don’t get some girls what’s the rush? You waited so long why not wait a little longer until baby is ready.

I don’t either cause I had my baby unintentionally at 37 weeks & THAT was too early. It might be considered full term but she was so small, couldn’t hold her body temp, & her jaundice levels were so high & she landed back in the ER 24 hours after coming home because of jaundice. Those people are straight up assholes. Let baby comes when he/she is ready to!

That’s the same thing as seeing a plant sprouted a flower bud not quite ready to open & here you come, tearing it wide open to make the flower come out NOW because you wanna look at it.

For me I wished I was further along at that point. BUT also knew I wasn’t and didn’t want baby to be a premie. I’m in so much pain at the end, it’s awful. I think the women that say this are not really thinking it through, I cannot imagine that any woman really wants to cause their baby harm.

I think possibly stress and hormones cause a lot of woman to behave like this? Because I get when you’re at the end of the pregnancy it gets hard like the SECOND I was 9 months I was like OK WHERE ARE YOU, NOW YOU CAN COME OUT anddddd the very next day he came haha but it is rough to make it through those last weeks you’re just tired of being pregnant but anything before that it just a little too much in my opinion

This is very true but some don't have a choice, i mean all three of my boys were born 36-37 weeks all healthy but every pregnancy is different. I do agree your pregnant all that time a few more weeks won't hurt you.
